Idea Nest Contributes a $3,500 In-Kind Donation to Metropolitan Ministries

At Idea Nest, we believe in the importance of helping our local community and supporting those in need. The most needed items at homeless shelters and relief centers are T-shirts and sweaters, which means that the retail industry has the power to aid in providing these elements for those in need and generating a fundamental change in the life of those who receive them. 

As a retail company creating high-quality apparel, we have donated $3,500 worth of new and unworn apparel to local Tampa non-profit, Metropolitan Ministries. We believe in the importance of corporate giving, which is why we donated clothing items that will be used to improve the living conditions of our community. 

The retail value of the donation amounted to over $8k!

Providing shelter, meals, education, family support, as well as a long list of employment and housing programs, Metropolitan Ministries functions as an important support system for at-risk and homeless families in underserved communities all over Tampa Bay. They work with over 30,000 men, women, and children, in different locations around the Bay, and depend greatly on food, clothing, and other donations. Clothing donations are distributed among clients and partners or sold at their thrift store. All proceeds from clothing purchases go towards Metropolitan Ministry programs and services. 

At Idea nest, we hope to continue working to improve the conditions of our local communities and lending a helping hand to local charities and non-profits who work so hard to assist at-risk men, women, and children.
