I am the Storm Foundation

A Rochester, NY based charity, the I Am The Storm Foundation was created shortly after Founder Dan Travis battled and defeated a cancer diagnosis at the age of 29. Inspiration for identity came from a verse of an unknown author;

“Fate whispers to the warrior, ‘You cannot withstand the storm.’ The warrior whispers back, ‘I am the storm.”

The Foundation primarily operates through sport event-based fundraising, featuring an annual golf scramble tournament. As an in-kind project, we set out to create a powerful identity with an athletic feel. Main considerations for the brand were based on the various ways it could be used with fundraising materials, and sports apparel or merchandise.
